celebrated today...

Disneyland's theme this year is "What will your celebrate?"...well, today we celebrated my birthday. Yes, almost mid-thirties...and Camryn was more than happy to share my age with everyong. Love that!

We had a wonderful day...honestly, we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. It was supposed to rain today, but we didn't hit a single drop...nope, we had sunny skies, occasional clouds and some chilly wind. But, not a drop of rain. The weather cooperated and we were able to celebrate today, not just my birthday; but our day as a family of four. I cherish these days.

We made sure to hit all the kids favorite places...and just soak in the day. Thankfully, the park wasn't too crowded at all and we just enjoyed the day. I will say that the park is a bit better with Camryn's temporary handicapped permit and her guest assistance pass. Sometimes there are little perks along the way.

Camryn of course LOVED Dumbo, the teacups, the carosel and the castle. She enjoyed all the sites of the day and just being at Disneyland...she crashed on the way home. A very full day, but a very fun day with our sweet girl. Made us realize how incredibly thankful we are for today...just to be able to take her one more time.

Wyatt enjoyed Disneyland more and more; seems like everytime we go he gets a bit more into it. He enjoyed seeing Rookie and Mater and of course the Pixar Parade...He also was my partner for It's a Small World and what fun we had. What fun to be able to share the day with Wyatt too...he just makes us smile.

All in all today was a wonderful birthday...it was very fun to spend the day with my three bests and just escape for a bit from the realities that are coming. To have a day that was beautiful...that was a day for us. Yes, this birthday was one of my favorites...just because today I was able to just be and I'll worry about tomorrow and the coming weeks, tomorrow.
