easter photo shoot...

Our Easter plans this year were a little different...we are attending church on Saturday nights so that Camryn and Wyatt can participate in the children's ministry programs. In honor of Easter we attended the Resurrection Saturday service and the kids got all dolled up on Saturday evening instead of Sunday...

We had a very wonderful Easter Saturday night...it was cute as Camryn and I were talking about Easter and Jesus dying she was asking about Easter baskets and such; and she says, "Mom it sure is a long wait 'til Easter."

And it was. I thought about what she said and simply my mind drifted to 11 men who had gathered in a room grieving, mourning, hoping, and believing...waiting for Easter. Although they did not know Easter was coming they thought it was finished.

How glorious Easter is knowing that Good Friday is not the end of the story...how hopeful, how precious, how redeeming...
